Whether it be one night in a hotel for a special occasion, a long weekend or holiday away or a business trip we all look forward to staying in a hotel and expect to receive elements of luxury, good service and clean spaces.
The findings of a recent survey showed what Brits are most likely to complain about in the cleanliness department.
81% of us would be inclined to complain about dirty linen or towels whereby only 25% of us would complain about dirty curtains and that we would see a complimentary meal as the most appropriate offer of goodwill following a complaint.
Regardless of the cleanliness issue, over half of would leave negative comments on social media about the hotel.
